Democrats Would Let Millions of Americans Die

Democrats Would Let Millions of Americans Die!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the Democrat debate on September 26th and just could not believe what I heard from these dangerous politically correct group of possible Commanders in Chief. Beside all the usual non answers regarding social security and pulling the troops out of Iraq and on and on ad nauseam they all did answer one question directly and all the same. Tim Russert asked them all what they would do if a nuclear bomb was planted in an American city and we had captured the terrorist that planted the bomb, what would they do to get the information from this terrorist to find out where the bomb was planted, would they approve torture to find the bomb. They all immediately and without any hesitation said they would not allow any torture to find where the bomb was planted. Instead they would allow the bomb to detonate and kill and wound millions of Americans but not use torture on this terrorist to save millions of American lives. Unbelievable!!!!!!! Based on this one answer alone I believe all of these potential candidates have disqualified themselves from being President as the first duty of the President is to protect the American people. I certainly hope this same question is asked of all the Republican candidates and those that agree with the Democrats should also be disqualified as becoming the President of the United States.

Hillary Health Care

September 18th, 2007 by frank · 2 Comments

Hillary Care

It seems like deja vu all over again, it’s 1994 and we have a Hillary Clinton health care plan to cover all Americans and O J in jail. Now I will admit it is too early to criticize Hillary’s health care plan in detail because as usual the details are still missing. What I can say that should scare everyone is that Hillary says it will not be a government run system but in the next sentence said it will cost the American Taxpayers 110 billion dollars per year, and we all know how accurate cost projections by politicians are. Take for example; Medicare Part A was passed in 1965 and projected to cost 9 billion by 1990 but the actual cost in 1990 was 67 billion and in 1987 when the Medicaid subsidy was passed it was projected to cost 100 million per year but actual costs were 11 billion per year. Hillary Care is projected to cost starting at 110 billion per year, based on history just imagine the real cost. What I feel this would lead to is medical rationing, a shortage of doctors and a shortage of the modern medicine we have become accustomed to. Also you can bet you will not be able to see the doctor or specialist you need to see in a timely manor.Government Just Can’t Contain Itself

Hillary Clinton’s Hypocrisy

September 12th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

Hillary Clinton’s Hypocrisy

If anyone has any doubts remaining that Hillary Clinton will do anything and say anything that is politically correct to do at one time and then reverse herself when the winds of the polls change read on. In January of 2007 in a hearing before the United States Senate’s Armed Service Committee she was questioning General Petraeus and told him that he should request all the necessary equipment he would need in Iraq to keep our troops as safe as possible. The General agreed with her and did submit his request for funds to furnish the following equipment for the troops in Iraq, 1.6 billion for body armor, 2.4 billion for equipment to combat ied’s and 3 billion for mine resistant vehicles. Well guess what, with Barack Obama nipping at her heels for the Democrat lead in the polls on a total anti war platform, the vote came up in the United States Senate in May of 2007 to provide this same equipment that she begged Generals Pretaeus to ask for and to supply to our troops, she voted against the bill. Once again I clearly state that this nation cannot and should not elect someone who will govern by the polls and political expediency. We need to elect a leader that will do what they know is the right decision to make and stick with it as long as the conditions that led to that decision remain constant. i do not believe we can trust Hillary Clinton to lead this country and do everything possible to keep our citizens as safe as possible even if it means losing some popular support. General Petraeus and Congress

September 11th, 2007 by frank · 1 Comment

General Petraeus and Congress

General Petraeus has given his report to Congress and has firmly stated that it is his report and it has not been approved by anyone including the White House. If you can remember as recently as last week the Democrats were trying to paint this report as the PRESIDENT’S REPORT. The general quickly put that concern to rest with his opening statement. His report was neither a rosy or bleak picture of the situation in Iraq, what the report consisted of was simply put, the truth. Now it is a given that the Democrats wouldn’t recognize the truth or accept the truth if it did not agree with their inane view of the world as it is and the war we are in. All the Democrats could do is rehash the past and complain about the strategy which is to train the Iraqi’s to defend themselves and to run their own country. They constantly want to know the unknowable, when will we get out. My God we have been in South Korea for over fifty years and we’ve been in Europe since WWII ended over sixty years ago. What is clear, except for the few real loons in congress, who simply want to pull out now, most of them have no solution themselves. When asked individually about their solution I saw Senator Casey of Pennsylvania say he would train the Iraqi’s to take over their own defense, duh, that’s what we are doing. They want everything to happen immediately even though the surge did not reach its full capacity until mid June of 2007. The senators keep trying to make it seem as if the surge has been in effect since the President announced it in January of 2007. It is my opinion the Democrats are governing just as they have for the last 20 years and that is by looking to the polls. They stick their finger in the air and go with the way the polls are blowing. They have no original or useful ideas. They keep on talking about withdrawal but most of them do not have the guts to put it into legislation because then they would have to take responsibility for the results and if there is one thing that most Democrats are not into it’s responsibility.

Here is what todays candidates have to say about the general’s report and a withdraw from Iraq: Candidates on Petraeus’ Report

Clinton Fundraising

September 10th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

Hillary Clinton and Norman Hsu

When you read the following article from the New York Times you will see that the Clinton’s are at it again with illegal fund raising. The Clinton’s seem to have an affinity to using the Chinese for illegal campaign contributions dating back to at least 1996. This article in the Times raise many questions but alas no answers. Will the Times and the rest of the liberal media pursue this crime as they did with the Republican’s scandal with fundraising with Jack Abramoff, I doubt it. Just think about how much of this illegal activity you have heard about from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC as compared to the Senator Craig scandal. Will these media outlets investigate these campaign contributions, I very much doubt it. Shadowy Money Trail of a Fugitive Fund-Raiser - New York Time

This shady fundraising needs to be stopped but as long as the liberal media continues to ignore it we will be hard pressed to see anything done. The WSJ has a really great article that explains the various unethical actions by Hillary Clinton: OpinionJournal - John Fund on the Trail

If we don’t learn from the past we will be doomed to repeat it.

Health Insurance by the Numbers

September 7th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

Health Insurance in the United States

If you listen to the liberals and democrats talk about the uninsured in this country they are always espousing that there are approx. 47,000,000 people uninsured in the united states and then leave it at that, What they never seem to tell you is the data that this figure comes from are the United States Census reports and when you look inside the numbers of the census reports you will find the following statistics of exactly who make up the uninsured as follows: (for the official report 2007 Census Report see page 29)

1. 18 to 24 year olds 8,566,600.

2. 25 to 34 year olds 10,412,00.

3. 35 to 44 year olds 8,090,000.

That totals 27,068,600 of the uninsured and I believe this number includes both the young who believe they will never get sick and those that would rather have a larger house or car instead of buying health insurance.

4. Also included in this 47 million of uninsured is included 9,487,000 people who are not even U S citizens and that includes illegal aliens. That’s right, people who don’t belong in this country are included in this statistic. What’s next, include the dead?

5. Also in this 47 million are included 17,040,000 people whose incomes are above $50,000.00. It would appear these people should be able to afford some type of health insurance but simply decide not to purchase it, they should at least be able to purchase a policy with a large deductible.

Now I am aware these numbers do duplicate in some of the areas shown above but remember when you hear the figure of 47,000,000 uninsured exactly what this number consists of. This is a country that has some uninsured but most are uninsured by their own choice but none are without health care as our hospitals are mandated by law to take care of anyone that appears for a health care issue. As I have said before in a previous post we must not destroy the best health care system on the planet because of the few that choose not to take part in health insurance.

California Ballot Proposal

September 6th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

The following article is quite interesting and I think deserves a look: California Ballot Proposal In general what this could likely do is make California a split state with it’s massive electoral votes going half to Democrats and half to Republicans. This could be very interesting if Thomas Hiltachk can get enough signatures to get this motion on the ballot. Although, even if it makes it on the ballot, it will be very tough to get passed but if so it looks like we’ll have another Republican in office.

Senator Craig Arrest Tape

August 30th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

Senator Craig’s Arrest tape has been released and the senator does nothing but try to claim his innocence while the officer simply keeps calling him a liar.

Here is a link to the full audio file:

Senator Craig Arrest Tape

I think the senator made a big mistake in pleading guilty to anything as I believe that had Senator Craig retained the services of a lawyer there would have been no charges filed at all.

Senator Craig Sex Solicitation

August 28th, 2007 by frank · 3 Comments

Senator Craig’s Dilemma:

I just watched Chris Matthews try to destroy Senator Craig on his show Hardball. Even the reporter that wrote the story on this said it could be wrong. Now I have no idea what is right or wrong with this story but let’s look at the facts as presented on hardball and examine them:

1. The police report said the Senator tapped his right foot on the floor in the bathroom stall.

2. The police officer said the Senator then tapped the police officer’s left foot.

3. The police officer then said the Senator swiped his had under the bathroom stall and that the police officer saw a gold band on the Senator’s ring finger.

4. The Senator said he was picking up a piece of paper and the police officer said he did not see any piece of paper.

Questions:

1. I just saw Senator Craig on Hardball denying this and I saw no gold ring on his right ring finger which is probably the hand the officer said the Senator swiped under the bathroom stall. It seems to me to be awful awkward to try and swipe your left hand in the positions they were in at the adjoining bathroom stalls, the married Senator does wear a gold ring on his left hand.

2. Unless the officer was on his knees looking into the other stall how could he know whether the Senator picked up a piece of paper or not.

There seems to be some problems with this story but no way for me to know if the Senator was soliciting sex or not, but certainly enough doubt to see there is something wrong with the interpretation of this case. There does not seem to be very much evidence for these types of accusations to be made and have his name and his families name drug through the mud. His pleading guilty to disorderly conduct was a point against him but I think we should let this play out and be completely investigated before calling Senator Craig gay, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Alberto Gonzalez Resignation

August 28th, 2007 by frank · No Comments

Alberto Gonzalez Resignation

My first comment is so what. The Justice department virtually runs itself for the most part. There are so many holdovers from prior administrations it is almost impossible to get a straight story from this department. If someone says or does something someone disagrees with there is almost immediately a leak criticizing it. My feeling is that Mr. Gonzalez is a good and decent man caught up in the mess the Justice department is at this time. I believe the problem in this situation was so complex and so many different items are classified that it made him look like a fool answering the questions of some very partisan senators. Also do not bring up Senator Specter as he is nothing better than an independent if not a moderate democrat.

The other problem with these hearings as I see it is that this administration’s officials are just too damn deferential to these senators. They rarely fight back against these Senators as they continue to malign them. What they need to realize is that the Executive Branch is a coequal, per our constitution, with the Legislative Branch. When they are in the process of being smeared these administration officials should immediately take to the offensive and give it right back. The Clinton Administration did this very well and is one of the few things that I admire them for, they didn’t take any bull when being questioned by the Republican majority.

Also remember that these U S Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the president and if the president wants them to direct their prosecutions to voter fraud or illegal immigration and they refuse to do so then they should be fired immediately, and if anyone asks why just tell them I wanted to.
